Plan now
for the March 20, 2010 Southern Pride Ag Ride!
Patience for pix to load. Sorry, all the ride pictures are from before
the ride and on the Century route and at the end of it too.
If you have pictures send them and I will post them as well. If you want
copies of any of these email and I will tell you how to get them.
Comments from the
riders:
First of all, thank you for putting on SPAR! It is a great
early season century. The route was well marked (great road
markings plus the signs) and the food, both pre-ride and
post-ride, was delicious. I drove down from Atlanta and rode
the 106 mile route, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm planning
on coming back down in the next few months and trying some
of the other routes. Peachtree Corners, GA
My husband and I
would just like to tell you how much we enjoyed the ride
today! What a wonderful staff of folks! The route was
super, the rest stops perfectly spaced and well stocked, and
again, the volunteers were great. We especially enjoyed
the first stop at the farm house - those folks were so much
fun to talk to! The spaghetti was good, and the shirts were
right up there with the best for any ride we have ever been
on! We will be back next year! Thank you for sponsoring
such a wonderful ride with such great support and routes.
Waverly Hall, GA
Well I am a little
sore but not to bad, I just wanted to tell you all thanks
for the great ride. That is the flattest land I have ever
ridden on (except my rides at Tybee) but the wind took up
for the lack of climbs. I will be back next year and will
try and bring some friends. Signal Mountain, TN
We
really enjoyed SPAR - thank you for organizing such a
great event! See you next year. Sugar Hill, GA
All of your Savannah
riders really enjoyed the ride. Initially, I
thought that I was insane to be attempting a century
with all of the wind. Of course, now that I have
completed the ride, I think that the entire idea of
riding an early century was brilliant! By the way,
I was one of the last 3 guys that finished. The
people associated with putting on the ride were
wonderful and the rest stops were well stocked and
the perfect distance apart. I have ridden the ride
before and I am familiar with the wind. Perhaps
next year you can reverse the wind and we can have a
90 mile tail wind! Make sure that i am on the list
and see you next year. Savannah, GA
The
pictures are very nice and they depict the beauty of
the day very well. It was beautiful scenery! Wayne
County has so much to be thankful for, don't you
agree! Waycross, GA
